If you have a lot of slides or negatives and you don’t know whether or not they’re worth scanning, here’s how to use your smart phone or tablet to get a quick view of them.

FYI: There are some apps that say they turn negatives into positive images but so far I haven’t been very impressed with the iPhone apps available. There’s an app for Androids that looks promising called Photo Negative Scanner, but since I don’t have an Android phone I haven’t tried it out.
