Flatbed scanning has always been the standard for digitizing photos, slides, and negatives, but is there a simpler way to do it? As one of my students put it so succinctly, “What a painfully long process.”
It turns out that in the last 10 years there’s been an explosion of new scanning and digitizing methods. In this section we’ll look at some of them and I’ll give you my very biased opinion about them!
