Module 5: Share—Part 3: Family History Projects Introduction and Downloads

One of the best ways to share photos is through family history projects where a group of photos is featured in a physical or digital project like a book or a slide show or a video or a PDF storybook.

A family history project can be saved and passed down along with the photos so your descendants won’t have to guess who the people are or what the photos are about.

Some of the projects in this section can be shared right away on your favorite social media site. It’s one way to start conversations that may result in additional family history information being shared—which would be a bonus!

You don’t have to use Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to create awesome family history projects. All the projects in this section can be done with or without a photo editing program.

Can you think of a better gift to hand to your descendants? Let’s get started on the last leg of the journey!

Transcripts are available below each video.

Hi, this is Linda Sattgast with an intro to the project section of Photo Rescue Blueprint. Now, most of you have taken classes from me and you know that I’m big on Photoshop and Photoshop Elements and all the great things you can do with them.

So, we are a tribe that likes to create beautiful pages, right? But not everybody wants to do that and my goal is to make making photo history projects easy for everyone. So in this section I’m going to focus on fast, simple projects that can be done quickly and that will look great. Because remember, done is better than perfect.

So I want you to keep an open mind about these projects. Most can be shared online or watched as a video and that’s great for our kids and grandkids. That’s where they hang out, right?

So keep an open mind because in the next section we’re going to do a 7 Day Challenge to create one of these projects. Most of these projects can be tweaked after the fact, so if youÆre like me and you don’t want to put an imperfect photo into a project donÆt worry about it. Go ahead and do it and fix it later and change it out. So the goal is to get something done. Okay, got that? Great!

Enjoy the projects so youÆll be ready for the 7 Day Challenge coming soon!
