Video 05-03-05: Family History PDF Part 2–JPG To PDF
There are several websites that will turn your jpeg photos or designs into a single or multi-page PDF. In this video I’ll demonstrate how to use the site I liked the best after trying several options.
Don’t let the cheesy look of the site put you off. It does a great job creating a nice-looking PDF for your family history project!

There are several websites online that will turn your jpeg photos or designs into a single or multi-page PDF. I didn’t try them all but of the ones I did try I liked convert-jpg-to-pdf.net the best so in the this video I’ll demo how to use that website to create your PDF.
The website itself is kind of cheesy looking—but almost all the websites that do this kind of thing look that way and they have tons of ads. In fact the biggest problem is that it’s so easy to accidentally click on one of their ads, so any time you see a button that says Continue, or Start Now, or Click Here, don’t do it.
Take a moment to look carefully at the web page. The only place you really need to focus on is this section directly below a small headline that says PDF presentation.
Start by choosing the kind of PDF you want. I’ll choose Small for the Margin, and I’ll choose Landscape for the Page Orientation, Letter for the Page size, but notice there are many other options, including European paper sizes. And finally, choose an image size. I’ll choose Scale to fit page size.
The next step is to upload your images by clicking on the blue button that says Select JPG files. Navigate to the folder on your computer that has your images.
Remember, you can upload individual photos or a JPG image of a design you’ve created, which is what I’m going to do. I’ll click and drag with my mouse over the images to select them and then I’ll click Choose and then wait for the images to begin loading…and there they are coming in.
Once all your images are loaded you’ll see the Convert to PDF button up here turn blue. Now, if they aren’t in the right order you can click and drag to reorder them, just like that, but mine are in the right order so I’ll just click and drag to move that back.
Now click on Convert to PDF…and it takes just a moment for them to prepare it, and then you can click Download Your PDF, and that will download your PDF to your computer.
On my computer it actually opens it up so here’s my PDF and I can just look through it and it looks great! So that’s a really simple way to create a PDF from multiple JPEG files using convert-jpg-to-pdf.net!
