Instructor Notes for Lesson 1

In this lesson we create the basic components for our Plaid overlay design. It may not look very ‘plaid’ at this stage. In subsequent lessons we will be refining our plaid to really make it ‘shine’ and look like plaid as we know it.

Please note: PS USERS - Starting with the 2020 update Adobe has moved the Pattern Picker out of the Preset Manager into it’s own panel which can be accessed here: In the Pattern panel (Window > Patterns). To find older default patterns, open the flyout menu and choose Legacy Patterns and More.
