Cluster Destinations
Cluster Destinations
You will certainly want to DO something with the beautiful clusters you create, including adding a beautiful photo.
Earlier in this lesson I mentioned that dependent bottom edge clusters are not meant to be the focal point of a scrapbook page. In the page above, the top (larger) photo grouping is the focal area of the page. It’s the place your eye should travel to first. It should contain the best photo(s) and the most eye-catching clustering.
The dependent bottom edge cluster is only used to add interest and establish the flow of the page (which is from top to bottom). This cluster should come in second—both in photo selection and clustering.
This page is an example of a mirror design which is taught in the Design Beautiful Page class.
A dependent bottom edge cluster also looks nice on a landscape greeting card. Add a simple message and a photo and you are good to go.
How will you use your dependent bottom edge cluster? I’d love to see what you create. If you post in a gallery on the web, send me a link so I can leave a comment.
I’ll see you at lesson ten.
