Children’s Picture Books

In this section we’re turning a corner into a delightful subgroup of gift books—children’s picture books! It’s never too early to start reading to children and giving them a love for stories and books, so my first book demonstration will start before a child is even born.

Over the next several lessons we’ll discuss various categories of picture books. For the first category, it seemed appropriate to start with the child’s family of origin and cirle of relatives and friends. This kind of book will give a child a sense of belonging and feeling loved and accepted.
