How to Load/Import Brushes (PSE & PS)

• (Optional) To practice with a set of brushes, click on the image below to download a set of 8 grungy frame brushes.

Instructions for Photoshop Elements:

• Get the Brush tool.
• In the Tool Options, open the Brush Picker, open the flyout menu, and choose Load Brushes.

• Navigate to a brush file (ending in .abr). Click Open.
• The new brushes will become active in the Brush Picker.

NOTE: When loading a new set of brushes, any previously loaded brushes will disappear.

Instructions for Adobe Photoshop:

• Get the Brush tool.
• In the Tool Options, open the Brush Picker, open the flyout menu, and choose Import Brushes.

• Navigate to a brush file (ending in .abr). Click Open.
• The new brushes will appear at the bottom of the Brush Picker.
