Design Problem: Script Letters that Don’t Connect

THE PROBLEM (image on top):

• Using a font that should have connecting letters, but they are spaced apart.

THE SOLUTION (image on bottom):

• Step One: In the Tool Options, reset the Tracking of the type layer to 0. If that doesn't fix the problem, proceed to Step Two.
• Step Two: Reduce the Tracking of the type layer in -1 increments. If that doesn't fix the problem, proceed to Step Three.
• Step Three: Choose a different font.
