You made it to the end of QwikLearn Photoshop Elements Part 3! Hurray! Think how much more you know about Photoshop Elements. Now it's time to put everything you've learned so far into practice with a fun project. You'll find everything you need for your project in the Part 3 lesson 10 practice folder.
There are two papers, three photos, and four elements. Your job is to create a card using at least one paper, at least one photo and at least one element. Of course you can use more than that, but that's the minimum amount you should use.
In addition, there are a few more rules for this project. Create a new five by seven document at 300 pixels per inch. Add a layer style to photos or elements that need them. Use the Type tool to create a title, but don't use layer styles on the type.
Just a note here, you don't have to use the photos, papers, or elements in the practice folder. I would encourage you to use your own photos and you're welcome to use your own papers and elements if you have them.
When you finish creating your composite image, save your document and then duplicate it. Then resize it for the web or for emailing. And here's the most important rule. Make your project before watching the next video called Part 3 Watch Me Create where I show you what I did. Doing it yourself first will give you practice making decisions and will show you which skills you need to review before moving on.
Happy creating!
