Project: Personalize A Template

It’s time to put your new skills into action! Check out the files I’ve provided for you to create your project and read the guidelines I want you follow.

NOTE: Please do your project before watching the next video showing how I made my project!

There are many ways to make a great looking project, so I don’t want you to be influenced or limited by seeing what I do before you’ve done your own project.

Video 05-10: Project: Personalize A Template (1:16)

It's time to put your new template skills into action with the project. For this project, I've given you one template, and three photos. I've also given you some papers to clip to the template paper clipping masks, and some elements to replace the placeholder elements on the template. You'll find all these files in the Part 5 lesson 10 practice folder.

Here are the rules I want you to follow. Modify the size of the template in some way, either by changing the size proportionately or by changing the size and proportions as I showed you in the last lesson. If at all possible, use your own photos. If you simply don't have any photos, you may use a demo photos I provided in the practice folder for this lesson. Do your project before watching the next video called Watch Me Create where I show you what I did with the template photos and project files. There are many ways to make a great looking project so I don't want you to be influenced or limited by seeing what I do before you've had a chance.

That's it. Have fun putting your new skills into action!
