Welcome to BIG Effects With Minimal Design!

Our topic is a departure from the more involved designs we’ve taught so far. In fact, we’re going to get downright simple in this module! I’m Linda Sattgast, and my topic is creating effective minimally designed pages. I’ll be your main instructor for this module.

To help you get a feel for Minimal Design I created a lot more pages than I typically do for my instructional videos AND I invited Barb Brookbank, the Queen of Minimal Design, to share her excellent pages with you!

Challenge Yourself

“There’s a big difference between knowing and doing.” To get the most out of this class you must create pages that push you beyond your current ability level.

Look at the Minimal design pages featured in this class and in your favorite gallery and make it your goal to try at least one page per week. You’ll quickly discover where you need more help or knowledge. The more you practice, the more you’ll get out of this class!
